One of the things you must do while visiting Pasadena, is to catch the famous Rose Parade that takes place on January 1st of every year. Each year, thousands of locals and tourists pack the streets to witness beautiful handmade floats pass by. These floats are made by volunteers and are comprises of living flowers. On average, it takes around 6 weeks to complete a full float by the volunteers. This must take a lot of patience and teamwork to get something of this magnitude accomplished in such a short period of time.
